Circular brooch made as a series of overlapping boomerangs with a kookaburra sitting at the base fastening to the reverse with a hinged pin and c-clasp and fitted with a safety chain the brooch with Australian hallmarks for 9ct (1889-1920) and with the maker's mark of Melbourne jeweller Johnson & Simonsen later H. Simonsen.
