Each piece of jewellery in this year’s catalogue was selected by Wesley, Siân and Mitch Rutherford for its beauty, uniqueness or rarity. You’ll find antiques, lustrous pearls and vibrant gems to treasure. 

In a catalogue overflowing with more than four hundred individual pieces it would be impossible to nominate a favourite, but when we applied some gentle encouragement’ this is what the family divulged:

As the world changes and the waters of the ocean are affected by climate change, it is becoming more difficult to find black pearls with this incredible hue. Each year our Rutherford team likes to stay abreast of trends whilst honouring timeless design and never compromising on quality. On page 47, Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, models a contemporary look of layering a strand with a pendant necklace. Jewelmer (gold South Sea pearls) and Kailis (Australian white South Sea pearls) continue to delight with fresh designs, and the unique qualities of Rutherford’s keshi pearls enjoy a special focus in this catalogue.
